Bakery on O’Connell is a nice place with an abundance of bakery options for all kinds of foodstuff be it Sandwiches Pies, Pastries, Breads, Coffee, Juice, Milkshakes, Smoothies, Catering, Pie Floaters, Desserts, Vegan Dishes and more, it has all of it. The prices are also relatively worth the food items for the fresh and yummy creations. A comfortable and cosy ambience with the friendliest staff is a great find. They are open for 24/7 service and all of their good items are baked on the premises and house-made with fresh and original ingredients to maintain authentic flavour.

They are available to serve you with service options such as in-store pick-up, in-store shopping, dine-in and takeaway. We ended up ordering their Pie Floater, Crossaints, Quiche, Apricot Turnovers, Coffee Frappé, Assorted Cupcakes and Cheesecake.

Perrymans Bakery in Adelaide

A beautiful Bakery with an adequate seating arrangement outside. Perrymans Bakery specialises in serving delicious Mini Pies, Chewy and Soft Sourdough Bread,  Pastries, Cakes, Bread and more. They have a good count of friendly staff and you will get outstanding hospitality offered by Alex one of their staff members. We enjoyed an Apricot Danish Custard Pastry and we were amazed at the right amount of sweetness with that we took a mug of Earl Grey Tea and were provided with a complimentary mini Gingerbread Man. We also ordered Chicken Pie, Chicken Sausage Roll, Chocolate Caramel Slice, Sour Cream Cake, Lemon Curd Tart and Scones. There are gluten-free and vegetarian options available. It smells appetizing in a bakery whenever you step! It is always filled with a good variety of baked goods.

There is a short bench inside and a few tables outside for sitting arrangements.

No Wheelchair entry due to the slim opening as they have original half double doors but you can access the outside dining area. We found service options like in-store pick-up, in-store shopping, delivery and takeaway. Remember to keep an eye out for the birds as they will steal your food if left isolated!

Dough is the best bake shop located at Adelaide Central Market. It offers a variety of bread ranging from Sourdough to Turkish bread, assorted tart and Cheesecake. A big shoutout to their Almond Tart and Chocolate Caramel Tart for tasting so excellent and delicious. You can have it with your afternoon tea for a nice food companion. This bakery is a paradise for pastry buffs. The cake they make is to starve for and they know how to make bread. It’s a location you should avoid if you are on a diet. Their Tarts have the most ideal crust, you won’t be disappointed if you visit Dough. This is not a one-time visit bake shop for sure.

We fulfil our appetite by ordering Golden Gaytime Cheesecake, Hot Cross Buns, Portuguese Custard Tarts, Chocolate and Salted Caramel Tart, Butter Croissant and Double Espresso. We were provided with services like in-store shopping and takeaway.

Abbots & Kinney Bakery in Adelaide

Abbots & Kinney is a little bakery located on Pirie Street. It services the best delicious Sandwiches, Pulled Pork, Panko Chicken served with Toast Vegetables, Pain Au Chcolats, Pastries, Coffee and Almond Croissants in Pirie Street. This bakery has a phenomenal variety of pastries. This place will give you a true vibe like being in Adelaide in its ambience and make you feel like you have grown up in Adelaide. The smell of the baked goods is divinely scrumptious just bringing back the appetite. One of the best Pain Au Chcolats we have ever had here. They serve greatly premium Coffee and they provide remarkable service. This bake shop is a cute tiny spot in the city, indeed excellent for a short snack and a cup of coffee.

We also tried their Rum and Raisin Pastry, Danish, Strong Skinny Cappuccino, Sfogliatelle and Ham Croissant. They have a wheelchair-accessible entrance for people. They provide services like in-store pick-up, in-store shopping, dine-in and takeaway.

Han’s Patisserie 礼三好 Bakery in Adelaide

Han’s Patisserie is a Chinese boutique cake shop established in April 2014. The staff there were extremely courteous which paired nicely with the ambience. Everyone should give this place a try, largely the Watermelon Millie Cake is a must-have if you go there. It is an LGBTQ+-friendly patisserie.

We ordered a lot of their cakes such as Chocolate Hazelnut Millie Crepe, Rainbow Vanilla Millie Crepe, Lychee and Raspberry Cake, Lotus with Egg Yolk Mooncake, Lotus with Yolk Pastry, Traditional Chinese Pastry and Black Forest Gatéau. Five Star Bakery in Adelaide

A wonderful little bakery at Hyde Street with a variety of Sandwiches, Sausage Rolls and Pastries. They also have Sweets, Bread, Confectionary, Cakes and Beverages. Tete-a-tete, we loved their kransky. The customer service they convey is excellent. It always, seems that the fares will sell out, you need to visit earlier in the day to taste their wonderful bakery items. Their customised menus and custom-made Baguettes are very popular there. The owner and the staff are very welcoming and that is another reason to adore this place.

What we ordered from their menu was the best Sausage Roll, Ham and cheese Doughnut, Cheese and spinach Groove, Bun, Kransky, Dutch Chocolate Cake and Picollo. You can get in-store shopping and takeaway as service options. 

Mayfair Bakery & Patisserie Bakery in Adelaide

Mayfair is a recent unique and incredible bakery cum patisserie in Port Adelaide. Both their sweet and savoury foods taste heavenly and delicious. It conveys good service to the customers and that is why became very popular in a few days. We had the best and superb Cappuccino there in Adelaide with low on froth and high on flavour. Their outside seating arrangement is a fantastic place to halt and soak up the narrative of Port Adelaide. You will love the ambience there, enjoying the food with the tinkles of the Town Hall across the street. Hopefully not a one-time visit bakery, people will be back soon to try some of their baked goodies if they tested Mayfair Bakery & Patisserie previously. They also have options available for Vegans.

We have ordered Kranski, Cheddar Steak and Bacon Pastry, Long Macchiato, Cheese Barger Pie, Quiche Lorraine, Chicken Parmi and Gourmet Sausage Roll. You will be provided with services like -store shopping and takeaway.

An outstanding spot in St Peters which has a large selection of Cakes, Pies and Pastries. The staff are friendly and helpful, also the prices are reasonable too. This kind of bakeries brings a certain magic to the neighbourhood. By seeing the local crowd, you will know how good this place is. Everything is beautifully made and wonderfully presented, including the Coffee. The smooth and premium flavour will make you visit again and again. 

This place gets busy soon, if you visit mid-morning then you will see a transition from brisk to busy. We ordered Portuguese Custard Tarts, Double Chocolate Cheesecake, Chicken Schnitzel Wrap, Meat Pie, Double Bacon and Egg Roll, Babycino and Flat White. Provided services are delivery, in-store shopping, dine-in and takeaway.

Jenny’s Gourmet Bakery in Adelaide

A hidden Gem in Adelaide that is famous for serving the perfect combination of duo Custard Croissant and Peanutbutter Hot Chocolate. An always busy bakery that offers the best Sandwiches in Adelaide. The food and Coffees are incredible. Their Almond Croissants and Nutella-filled Croissants with a Flat latte should be a must-have. This is a fantastic bakery that offers new bakery foods like Treats and Tarts, a beautiful selection of Cakes and many more. Adorable and polite staff and an awesome collection of baked savoury and sweet products would make it easy to become a regular visitor of Jenny’s Gourmet Bakery.

Our more ordered foods are Sausage Rill, Caramilk nut, Hot Cross Buns, Paris Breast and Coffee Puff. The service options are in-store pick-up, in-store shopping, dine-in and takeaway.
